Refund & Digital Download Policy

Effective Date: October 16, 2026

MindScope Health Consulting (“MindScope,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides digital educational resources, study guides, reference materials, and other downloadable products. This Refund & Digital Download Policy explains our policies regarding purchases, delivery, access, refunds, replacements, and use of digital products purchased through the MindScope website.

By purchasing a digital product from MindScope, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy.

Digital Products

MindScope products are delivered digitally rather than as physical merchandise. Depending on the product and website functionality, digital products may be made available through an electronic download, download link, order-confirmation page, email, customer account, or another electronic delivery method.

No physical product will be shipped unless a product listing specifically states otherwise.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate email address and maintaining access to a compatible device, internet connection, and software necessary to download and open the purchased files.

Digital Purchases Are Generally Final

Because digital products can generally be accessed, delivered, copied, or downloaded shortly after purchase, all digital product sales are generally final and non-refundable once the product has been delivered, accessed, or downloaded.

This policy helps protect the intellectual property contained within MindScope digital products while allowing MindScope to keep educational resources reasonably priced.

Nothing in this policy limits any refund, cancellation, or consumer-protection rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Exceptions That May Qualify for Review

MindScope may review a refund, replacement, or other resolution when there is a legitimate problem with an order, including:

  • A verified duplicate purchase of the same product.

  • A technical problem that prevents access to the purchased product and cannot reasonably be corrected.

  • Delivery of a product different from the product shown on the customer's order confirmation.

  • A corrupted, defective, or unusable file that MindScope is unable to replace with a functioning copy.

  • A billing or transaction error attributable to MindScope or the website.

  • A refund that is otherwise required by applicable law.

Eligibility for review does not automatically guarantee a refund. MindScope may first attempt to correct the problem or provide a replacement copy of the purchased product.

Technical Problems and Download Assistance

If you experience difficulty downloading, accessing, or opening a purchased digital product, contact MindScope before submitting a payment dispute.

When appropriate, MindScope may:

  • Provide reasonable download assistance.

  • Confirm that the order was successfully processed.

  • Provide another authorized download link.

  • Send a replacement copy of the purchased file.

  • Correct a file-delivery error.

A technical problem does not automatically qualify for a refund if MindScope can successfully provide the purchased product in a usable format.

Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally purchase the same digital product more than once in separate transactions, contact MindScope as soon as possible.

After the transactions are verified, MindScope may refund the duplicate transaction when appropriate.

Purchasing an individual resource and later purchasing a bundle that also contains that resource is not automatically considered a duplicate purchase unless the applicable product description or promotion specifically states otherwise.

Customers are encouraged to review the contents of bundles before purchasing.

Incorrect Product Delivery

If the digital product delivered to you is different from the product identified in your order confirmation, contact MindScope.

We will generally attempt to provide the correct purchased product. If the error cannot reasonably be corrected, a refund or other appropriate resolution may be considered.

Change-of-Mind Purchases

Refunds are generally not provided when a customer:

  • Changes their mind after purchasing.

  • Decides they no longer want or need the resource.

  • Purchases the wrong product despite the product being accurately described.

  • Fails to read the product description before purchasing.

  • Purchases material that overlaps with resources already owned.

  • Determines after purchase that the material is not required for a course, examination, employer, or program.

  • Prefers a different learning style, format, design, organization, or presentation.

  • Does not use or download a purchased resource after it has been made available.

  • Experiences circumstances unrelated to an error or defect in the purchased product.

Customers should review the product title, description, format, included materials, number of pages or files when stated, price, and intended purpose before completing a purchase.

Digital File Compatibility

MindScope digital products may require commonly available software or applications capable of opening the file format identified in the product description.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their device and software are compatible with the purchased format.

A refund will generally not be provided solely because a customer's device, application, printer, browser, internet connection, or third-party software is incompatible with an otherwise functional file.

If the actual file provided is defective, contact MindScope so the issue can be evaluated.

Educational Nature of Products

MindScope digital resources are intended for educational and informational purposes.

Purchase or use of a MindScope resource does not guarantee:

  • Passing an examination or certification.

  • Achieving a particular academic grade.

  • Admission to an educational or professional program.

  • Employment or promotion.

  • Successful completion of a course.

  • A particular professional or clinical outcome.

  • Mastery of the material presented.

Refunds will not be issued solely because a purchaser did not achieve a particular academic, examination, professional, or clinical result.

Accuracy and Updates

MindScope strives to provide thoughtfully prepared and useful educational resources. However, healthcare information, medications, clinical guidelines, diagnostic criteria, regulations, and professional standards may change over time.

Customers are responsible for consulting current authoritative sources when using educational material for academic or professional purposes.

Unless a product description specifically states otherwise, purchasing a digital resource does not entitle the purchaser to future revisions, editions, updates, replacements, or newly released products.

Personal-Use License

Unless otherwise stated, the purchase of a MindScope digital product provides the individual purchaser with a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the material for personal educational and professional reference purposes.

Your purchase includes digital material for individual purchaser use only.

MindScope digital resources may not be:

  • Copied and distributed to others.

  • Shared with classmates, colleagues, coworkers, organizations, or other individuals.

  • Uploaded to shared drives, cloud folders, websites, social media platforms, learning-management systems, databases, or file-sharing services.

  • Reproduced for distribution.

  • Resold.

  • Sublicensed.

  • Redistributed electronically or in print.

  • Used to create competing commercial products.

  • Modified and represented as the purchaser's own original work.

© MindScope. For individual purchaser use only. MindScope resources may not be copied, shared, redistributed, uploaded, reproduced, or resold without permission.

Purchase of a digital product does not transfer copyright or ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

Unauthorized Sharing or Distribution

MindScope reserves the right to restrict access to products, decline future transactions, or take other appropriate action when there is reasonable evidence of unauthorized copying, sharing, redistribution, resale, publication, or other misuse of copyrighted materials.

Refunds will not be provided in connection with transactions involving verified unauthorized distribution or misuse of MindScope products, except where otherwise required by law.

Pricing, Discounts, and Promotions

Prices may change periodically.

A later price reduction, sale, promotional offer, discount code, bundle price, or other promotion does not ordinarily entitle a previous purchaser to a partial refund or price adjustment unless MindScope expressly states otherwise.

Promotional offers may be subject to separate terms, availability periods, or eligibility requirements.

Refund Request Process

If you believe your purchase qualifies for consideration under this policy, contact MindScope at:mindscopeh@gmail.com

Please include, when available:

  • Your name.

  • The email address used for the purchase.

  • Your order number.

  • The name of the product purchased.

  • The date of purchase.

  • A description of the problem.

  • Any information that may help us identify or reproduce a technical issue.

MindScope may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify the transaction or investigate the issue.

Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee approval of a refund.

Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method when reasonably possible.

The time required for an approved refund to appear in an account may depend on the payment processor, financial institution, card issuer, or other third-party payment provider.

MindScope does not control third-party processing times after an approved refund has been submitted.

Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If there is a problem with an order, customers are encouraged to contact MindScope first so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute does not eliminate the purchaser's obligations under the MindScope Terms & Conditions or the intellectual-property restrictions applicable to downloaded or accessed materials.

MindScope may provide relevant transaction, delivery, download, communication, or order information to a payment processor or financial institution when reasonably necessary to respond to a payment dispute.

Fraudulent or Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe a transaction was made without your authorization, contact your financial institution or payment provider and notify MindScope so the transaction can be reviewed.

MindScope reserves the right to cancel or restrict transactions reasonably suspected of fraud, unauthorized payment activity, abuse, or violation of website policies.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund & Digital Download Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

Where applicable law provides rights that conflict with this policy, applicable law will control.

Relationship to Other MindScope Policies

This Refund & Digital Download Policy should be read together with the MindScope:

  • Terms & Conditions

  • Educational Disclaimer

If another MindScope policy specifically addresses an issue not covered here, that policy may also apply.

Changes to This Policy
